In a landmark partnership with the National Council for Women, the Central Bank, and the Agriculture Bank, eFinance launched Ta7wisha, an eSavings platform tailored for Village Savings and Loan Associations. Designed specifically for rural women, Ta7wisha provides a safe and convenient digital space for group savings and loans, enabling women to set up joint bank accounts and electronic payment cards. Over 220,000 members were onboarded on the ta7wisha app and +75,000 rural leaders were issued ta7wisha Meeza card.

With thousands of women empowered through Ta7wisha the Ministry of social solidarity is leading a movement towards economic empowerment and efinance is digitally enabling these programs for financial access, as that initiative would support over half a million women across Egypt’s rural areas. Aiming at conducting KYC processes to facilitate support for financially and economically challenged women by providing a tech-enabled platform that would offer a digital approach to village savings and loan associations.
